Guitarface is the energetic, guitar-driven duo of Gordie Matthews and Jimmy Guiboche combining a diverse mix of musical styles creating a fun, roots-based musical experience. Having played together over the years, the two veteran guitarists realized a certain chemistry as they experienced spontaneous outbursts of musical shenanigans virtually every time they played. The band name came from the obvious...there's no hiding that. They play a mix of cool, classic covers and also combine their skills steeped in blues, country, surf and rock and roll to create fine original tunes as well. Combined with the muscular grooves of the skilled rhythm section of Chris Brzezicki on stand-up bass, and Scotty Anderson on drums, the quartet is truly a force to be reckoned with!
