Donita Large is a Cree singer-songwriter that can lift the hair on the back of your neck when you experience her singing and feel the story in her songs. Donita has graced the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City in a former women’s group and lent her talents to a choir for Johnny Reid at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards. Since releasing her first single, “Going To Walk That Line”, she hit #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown and she has become a sought-after performer on festival stages and shows including Taste of Edmonton, the Edmonton International Fringe Festival, Ravenwood Music Festival, and Toronto’s Nuit Blanche and more!
Joining Donita is former Miami and LA based bass player and guitar slinger. Anthony King, who commands the ability to move through many musical styles. Anthony has performed along side Carlos Santana, Slash of Guns N’ Roses and toured with Martha Davis from the Motels for just a few notable mentions. And if that wasn’t enough… the super talented vocalist and classically trained contemporary violinist Mira Angela is a breath of fresh air to the flame. Don’t miss this electric trio!
